I’m was in here because it was so ****ing hard not watching them. Been a diehard all my life. Fed up with being disappointed game after game by a group of overpaid underperformers. Was hoping for a glimmer of lhope tonight. But it seems it’s long gone

Regardless of how ****e they are the players are still earning more in a week than most supporters earn in a year or several

And the same players delivered some of the best times you’ve had as a supporter in recent years.

I go and watch Hearts a few times, been about four times this season and the supporters are typically miserable as ****. But they’ve earned the right to moan and be miserable. Zero chance of winning the league every year and the slim hope of a good cup run if you can avoid the old firm. That’s it. That’s as good as it gets. Yet these guys love football just as much as anyone in here, the same as supporters of countless teams in the same position.

Liverpool supporters who chock the towel in after 6 bad months or whatever (and we are 7th not 17th) just underline what I was saying above! One season where too 4 looks a stretch and we won’t get to the CL final and it’s all doom and gloom.

Football is escape, it’s sport, it’s a game. Who gives a **** how much they earn.

I genuinely wouldn’t go to the game with any of you lot

Miserable ****ers. We’re in bad form. So what. Just get on with it move onto the next game and hope for a win. We can’t influence anything beyond that, so why moan about absolutely everything.

There are fans out there whose teams never win anything ever. We are having one sub par season out of 5 amazing ones. I refuse to be overly negative. I enjoy the game. I enjoy hoping we will snatch a win., and if we don’t I hope we will next time.

I think we have been spoiled for the last few years. Seasons like this make you appreciate the good ones.

and especially to the highlighted bit. Seasons like this make the rise back up feel more epic.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Rose tinted? I'm a fan, as much as you are. I just don't like throwing the towel in and throw my toys out of the pram when the team is not doing well, just like a bunch of kids in a park do like entitled little suckers. We're not playing well, we all know that, I'm not saying we are, but I know deep down we'll be back.

I'm grateful for our manager, who sees the bigger picture, regardless of the doom and gloom. This team deserves far more respect than the **** I read in here day in day out.

I go and watch local amateur football. No money, nothing. But you know what I see. Players playing their hearts out for the team, regardless of how talented they are, or not. Perspective

Yup - you have to have been around a while to get this.

Like a team that nearly won every trophy they went in for in the same season a mere 7 months ago? There is no lack of effort in our play, there is a lack of cohesion.

I can guarantee you the good times are more likely to return for Liverpool, and quickly, than they are for your local amateur team.

And I’m not saying we can’t acknowledge when we are ****, like second half last week. Tonight was meh. Poor game by both teams. It’s just the relentless negativity on everything. Team. Owners. Investment. Away kit. Players contracts. Players to old. Too young. Too new. Don’t care. Don’t try. Wages.

                Everything.

There are no guarantees and it’s hard to see any upside. Hurts like hell not watching them tonight, but I stuck by my decision not too

At the end of the day there’s something fundamentally wrong at the club and it’s hard to pinpoint it

This team are trying (apart from Keita who's doing his best not to be injured), there's just really poor execution. Klopp has to take control of this.

I think we’ve begun to turn the corner. We aren’t going to be pretty this season, I don’t think - and it could be a bumpy ride. But seems like we will invest in the summer and go again. Diaz is the great hope and hopefully Jota is getting closer to full fitness. We could soon have all forwards fit and firing. Get Konate back (VVD played well tonight imo) and we have strength there.

What are the options? Support City and win the League every year? **** that.

The lows make the highs more special.

                        Strap yourself in.

No real options but to try to be positive at the moment. Get behind the team and accept that we are not world beaters this year. A lot of players are disappointing but likelihood is the management know that as well as we do .

                          Really?

I think the season end will be exciting as in we will, imo of course, get back in the hunt for a CL placing. Whether we make it or not is another thing, but do expect us to get back in a position where with four or five games to go we are scrapping for fourth and that we finish no lower than in one of the Europa league spots.

On top of two wins this could have given the teams above us reason to worry & us a bit of confidence so yeah I stand by my comment.
