Yep every single club that adopted the recovery and physio set up were decimated by both new and recurring injuries the following season.
If I had to make a guess I would say that the sports it was originally made for were American Football, or maybe Rugby, but that it was then "tweaked" and packaged for pro footy.
Hockey ( Ice) is another possibility.
We look like we have done a disproportionate amount of upper body conditioning and straight line training and then dumped players into a sport where agility and 360 degree movement are key.
On the outside looking in it seems to be focused on training methods (and recovery set ups) that do not favour the range of movement a footballer makes and also the type of impacts a footballer gets subjected to in training and during games.
Is why I would love to see what it is in detail as, imo of course, it seems like real square peg in a round hole stuff. Even the footage of a lot of our pre season training sessions seemed off and they looked like we were going to go into the season undercooked.

assumed these guys dealt with the recovery stuff as well..
