He was close to a stellar performance on Sunday. We didnt play **** at all on Sunday, we created loads we just didnt take our chances. I'd be worried if we stopped creating, but that isnt happening.

Dom is a class player with so much energy, as with Macca and Endo it is his first season, and the signs for how good they could be is really exciting. Throw in Jones, Elliot et al and we have some great options.

Don't worry about Dom, it's more to do with the intensity of our football & the PL that has caught up with him. He'll be fine next year once he has a good break in the summer & gets to grips with the needed intensity.
The new manager may not need that much intensity in the new style.

I think he still brings a greater athleticism and physical presence over Elliot - might be why Klopp prefers to start with Dom (when games are generally more intense).

Was crap first half but increasingly influential second. Would be good to see early season Dom again consistently!!!

Im wondering if thats why Klopp switched them. Macca right Jones left? Dom is backup.

Wasnt sure inverting him with Macca was the hest idea. I thought he looked a bit poor in comparison tbh. A couple of good runs toward the end.

Looks like he’s finding that early season form again and driving forward looking dangerous and a goal threat. With a more balanced midfield and Jones coming back we are looking good for the finish to the season. Players hitting form at the right time.

We supposedly have good sports science guys monitoring fitness etc and have been heavily influenced by the stats etc in the past. You would hope that any potential problems would have been identified ahead of time and his minutes managed appropriately.

As if life is ever that straightforward. If there’s 3 Premier League points at stake and it’s borderline then of course they’re going to play him.

You could argue we have done it with Trent & Robbo too. It's a brutal system to play in and exactly why a strong squad is needed to rotate.
