He's the absolute full package isn't he. Great on the ball, big ****er, electric pace, covers a ridiculous amount of ground, and perhaps most impressively is so switched-on tactically. Plays with a wisdom and maturity way beyond his years. Couldn't love him any more.

I think we've went too early with him. We've played him a lot deeper than he's used to and he's barely through the door but he was a second tier option for us.

Bellingham would have been super expensive but an obvious upgrade and even Maddison but he couldn't do the numbers he has from a midfield three.

Basically I think the balance is wrong. He's probably not suited to a three midfield, especially with Gravenberch and a DM that isn't a DM.

A lot for us to sort out.

Anyway, good confidence boost for him after arguably his worst couple of games for us.

he is brilliant. Huge potential - as in world 11 stuff.

It will be interesting to see how our team evolves. If we did sign a top central defensive midfielder, then it will be interesting to see what happens with Dom. The guy is a machine but i wonder if he could end up playing RW for us in a 4-2-3-1 with Mo at #10...... and then Dom eventually becoming our #10.
