    Bournemouth (H) 19/08/23 - 3pm BST

As it’s now Wednesday and I just saw the rather worrying news below, I thought i’d start this thread.

Paul Tierney named VAR for Liverpool vs Bournemouth - just three months after Klopp was banned for accusing him of bias - and he'll be assisted by the linesman who elbowed Andy Robertson
Soooo then. Nervous yet? Surely we should have enough here but maybe we’ll have to make sure we’re not relying on any VAR decisions as I get the impression we’re not likely to see many of them going our way.

I’m not nervous about this game at all, more of the opposite. If we’re nervous about Bournemouth at home with a fully fit squad then we’re really in the ****.

We'll have more than enough for the 14 men of Bournemouth. If not then it's going to be a long, bad season.
      One tit for another.

Ahh the game that when it ends, we will all have our tails up with talk of how TAA is finally settling into the role and the box formation is brilliant.

Fecking Bournemouth. Their game is either the one we score a hatful of goals in before being dragged down to earth a game later or it is the games that humbles us after scoring a load in the previous game.

Guess this time it is the scoring a hatful game. Think we will score at least four against them.

I’m more nervous that it’ll end up being 11 vs 13.

Hope we see a midfield of Dominik - Alexis - Curtis for this one, would be nice if Bajcetic and/or Thiago could be on the bench and come on for a few minutes.
            * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

              Is Bajčetić fully fit?
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"

He's just returned from injury, don't think he's close to being fit

I imagine he is fully fit as he has been back in full training since about a week or so before the Chelsea game or just after the final friendly game, and Klopp does not allow players back into full training under they have been cleared as being fully fit, however being match fit is another thing.

Then again the only way you get match sharp/fit is to get some minutes under the belt so maybe he will make the bench for the coming game.

He will. We just need genuine new signings as well.

We may as well get excited by the prospect of him kicking on and solving us some major headaches than assume we sort out our negotiation deficiencies in the interim.

4-3-3 or 4-4-2 with defenders playing in defence and midfielders in midfield. Scrap the Trent in midfield and Robbo as LCB experiment. Allow them to play as attacking fullbacks (wingers). Darwin to start.

Possibly not against Bournmouth, but the big call for Klopp (IMO) is dropping one of our front three for a midfielder.
                        Another MASSIVE game

Do you ever get fed up of saying that?

Though I think Cody deserves to start over Darwin right now. The latter seems to cause absolute chaos coming on in the second half and I do loves me a spot of chaos
