I don't get the stick he has been getting, players take time to settle and he has done fine when he has played. I have said this before and I could be wrong but I think he has been signed as a squad player. I don't mean to be harsh when I say that I just think that is the reality of it, that doesn't mean that he's a bad player though.

Class? He done well vs Toulouse but has struggled to male impression for us previous to that imo. Knew nothing about him previous to signing for us and I suspect no many did either. Hopefully performance is a step in the right direction for him.

My favourite gripe I’ve read about him is he’s not tall enough, I mean the likes of Masch, Kante, Makelele and Deschamps were absolute giants!

Think you’re right about him being a squad player for us and for the money these days that seems about right. Think over the season we’ll be using all of our midfielders as the time between games gets stupidly short, really handy player to have around for me.

I thought he had a very tidy game, did what he was tasked with, got stuck in and cut out the passing lines...though pace is an issue with him, positioning his one of his strengths, quite pleased with him
