Yeah he's bang average but at least he's able bodied

Being able bodied is always a bonus alright. Think I'll feel much better about it if we get a top quality DM in January. For me, Endo isn't good enough to be a first team player if we want to win anything. Something is off with that midfield at the minute and the lads we have bought, there just isn't the right balance in there.

He is doing a decent job, but he is painfully slow sometimes. We never had a backup DM as long as I remember, but its still a position I would look to strengthen.

He is much better than Macca there and will probably get until.the season end to make it his own.

Yeah I love his forward thinking mentality. Especially compared to someone like Hendo that loved a back or side pass as a safety measure.

This is something I’ve noticed with Endo that I definitely wasn’t expecting. He plays a fair few good, penetrative balls to find teammates between the lines. As you rightly say, Henderson was rarely so progressive with his use of the ball.

Klopp has said the tradition DM role has evolved - I think Klopp planned to use Thiago/Mac Allister/Endo/Bajcetic in the ‘six’ position but injuries have limited his ability to rotate/rest so far.
