Another solid display from Endo, as a squad option we should absolutely keep him imo. I suppose it just depends if he wants more game time which unfortunately by the goes of it, he won't get under Slot.Comment

We are touring Japan this summer so easy to imagine him staying - from a commercial POV makes sense. But it does from a playing POV also - he’s exactly the sort of character you need in a winning squad. Minutes on the pitch seems to be the only thing that could change that.Modifying post.Comment

Our squad is small enough already. I see no point in selling him at all. I’d send McConnell out on loan for the start of the season to get game time into his legs. If something happened to Ryan for example we’d have to play either Macca or Bajetic to cover him. Personally I’d rather see Endo cover & Macca play his best position on the left & if Bajetic does prove his worth through the Cup competitions he can put pressure on for a start. I’m sure there was an article from one of the more reliable journos saying Endo was staying and they were very happy with him. I think he’ll get more game time if he does and will play most of the games to finish the season.
Maybe it’s because I haven’t seen him play for a while but he’s looked more comfortable with the ball and was always available and kept the ball moving nicely.
That article also mentioned Elliot and said they weren’t looking to sell him which sounds more like they’ll let him go if he wants or the right offer comes in.Comment

I think the Chelsea game was a good illustration of what he is good at and what he is not so good at. He showed that he would be a useful squad player and occasionally could be used to give Grav a rest - as long as he has first teamers around him. If Grav had a longer-term injusry, I'd be nervous about him as my DM game afer because he showed against Chelsea that he is not as progressive.Comment
