Anybody summarise how the team played today ie good/bad etc ?

Nah, we were **** for most of it. Played well in 2nd half with 10, Newcastle didn't exploit the extra man. We were dreadful in the first half. Darwin scored two very clinical goals that, judging on last season, you would not have expected. We rose well to the challenge in the 2nd half, but we created our own problems in the first. TAA was lucky to see the game out, VvD was deservedly sent off in a concerning challenge - maybe a professional, but if not, a sign of decline. Feels good, much better 2nd half, but shouldn't gloss over the problems.

I like the Live USA broadcast just lets the camera run and the crowd sounds with no commentary for a few minutes after the match ends. Get to enjoy the atmosphere and the Mighty Jurgen Fist.

Good shout to get Nunuez on. He had that space to run through into to make best use of his attributes. Did it on the right hand side too. I dont think he is as much use on team that sit back... But Newcastle pressed us so well very high up the pitch. Surprised he didnt come on earlier (and I am not his biggest fan). Those finishes were fantastic. Lets hope this is where he turns it around.

Salah set up one, but I am not sure how to fit Nunez in without dropping either Salah or Diaz

1st half.
Trent shocker, VVD sent off and generally out fought.

2nd half
10 man containment football for 25 mins
Jota and elliot on and we started finding passes, some good moments.
Then two sublime finished from Darwin.

Newcastle lack final third quality, we can beat them to top four.

All fair. But the players on the pitch second half put in 100% when they could have had their heads down, and that is a very positive sign.
