IwobiOriginally posted by Liverpool View PostWon't be a popular comparison but reminds me of a young Iwobi
really good at getting the ball 30/40 yards up the pitch with ease, which not many are capable of doing. Not sure on his final ball/decision making yet, once that clicks and his understanding with the rest of the team looks a serious prospect.
He's got great body positioning and really rolls his defenders well. Not many players can do it, especially young ones. As he gets stronger and up to speed with our game he's going to be a quality addition.
I think you can see his Ajax style with the one-twos and quick movement. Once he clicks with others I think he'll be one of our top assisters and probably get on the end of a few goals too. Has excellent movement"When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah
"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey

He's deceptively quick and simply glides across the pitch. It's like playing FIFA with one midfield player being maxxed out.Originally posted by Harv View PostIwobi

I wonder if he'll be trained to be more Wijnaldum like? Was muß, das muß.

He has played there but i'd worry about his discipline in that role, in the same way Pogba struggled with it. Both of them like to break forward. Definitely see him more of an 8.Originally posted by Charly View PostId rather we tried him as a DM. We already have Macca and Jones who play left hand side.
He really is the only midfielder that has the proper physicality for me. With Baj as the understudy.
Was the only thing worth watching last night. and Quansah did well despite having little defending to do for large parts. Sixth game of the season by the way and he's went about it quietly.

Perhaps and that's definitely his best position from the little we've seen.Originally posted by rudedog View PostI think Klopp has already said he brought Grav in to be an 8?
That said, its also fair to say that Mac Alister and Endo are struggling as a 6. With Jones out
i can see why people are looking to other solutions.

Feels strange when we just paid out for Macca to play the same position with Jones already looking good there. Maybe Jones can cover the right too, but we know that Klopp likes Elliott there.
For me, Grav has the right attributes, and previous metrics suggest he would be perfect on paper (for DM)..
But I too worry that he wants to get further forward than that... and Klopp has only played him Left Mid. And if he has come out and said that then it must be true. Not complaining, as I think he looks a good player... But we will need better than Endo or Macca in there if we are to reclaim the top. But then again, its a big gap in quality between City and the rest, so maybe thats an unfair expectation for this season. In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

I'm not sure Bajetic is too far behind Gravenburch in terms of development in general, but he's absolutely played way more as a more defensively minded playerOriginally posted by Charly View PostId rather we tried him as a DM. We already have Macca and Jones who play left hand side.

I think Grav has looked a bit more physical than I remember Baj, but he hasnt played a while... he is also 3 years younger. I dont think he is up to it just yet. Grav does look like he could step in. I think he would be better than Macca.
Funny we have gone from zero options to bloody loadsIn the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.
