He is a talented kid, a good ball carrier although most of the time it comes to nothing. Him getting better, learning or whatever isn't my concern, it's him hiding and being a bit of a fanny is a bit of a worry.

Think BG's point regarding Nunez was that Nunez got another season to do better and we are seeing this season the result of getting another season to show what you can do once settled.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

I meant like Nunez wasn't binned off after 1 season and is now a key player.Originally posted by SB View PostNunez will get more than ‘ another season ‘ IMO. The guy is the driving force & an example of the effort required to be successful. Sure he’s not the had his shooting boots on at times but you can never question his effort.

Nunez scored loads before he joined us. Looked promising last season because his effort is always flat out 100%. Grav doesn't come off the back of anything good. He's such a ****ing pussy. A new manager will bring in new players, he's very much at risk of being moved on.Originally posted by Doc_Piptorious View PostThink BG's point regarding Nunez was that Nunez got another season to do better and we are seeing this season the result of getting another season to show what you can do once settled.Always borrow money from a pessimist. I get what you're saying but as a home grown Jones hasn't cost us anything really.Originally posted by Fivex View PostEither way deserves a bit more time imo. Same thinking would have sold Jones to Villa or someone a couple seasons back.
There were many times it looked like he needed a loan to get more game time and improve but not at the expense of the first team. It may be that squad injuries have meant we had to stick with him and it seems to have eventually paid off well.
To pay 40m for someone who is scared of his own shadow and doesn't have the inner man strength seems like we've bought a dud.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
