My MotM. Kept the quality in midfield on his own in the first half. Maintained that quality in the second without any visible loss of sharpness.
        One tit for another.

          Looked really good.

Will be very interesting to see how he gets on against better midfields like Arsenal and City but was good today.

Our bench looked really strong so although that Zubamendi fella would have been great, in reality we do have a very very good squad.

Excellent start to the season. He has a lot of natural ability, I hope he develops and fullfills his potential consistenly.

I don't quite get the clamour for more signings immediately. Over time, sure, but we have two capable players for every single position already. Most clubs only have one, and some even none.

Yeah I am tending to agree. It’s easy to be blasé when looking at the current squad.

Didn't think he was great in the first half, not many were but he was much improved in the 2nd half.

If Slot and his team are able to keep them healthy like they did at Feyenoord it will go a long way to helping over the course of the season.

I get the need to improve the team especially in some areas but I think we all have that worry of the usual injury list building like it did under Klopp. Maybe that’s more on his style of training and football rather than some of the players. I guess we’ll find out over this season if a different approach changes things.

We need a quality replacement for Robertson though - Ait Nouri looks a good bet.

He looked good second half against Ipswich. A team in league one two seasons ago. Let's see if he can turn up to utd away. Promising start under slot.

He looks calmer too, I think he struggled to settle a bit last season

Yet Dave Hendricks on the Anfield index has been going on about how bad Grav has been as a 6 and we shouldn’t be fooled by all the praise he’s been getting - he’s definitely seems to have some serious agenda.
