Honestly, nowadays if he's not won MotM I feel underwhelmed. His floor level seems to be 7/10.
    One tit for another.

His performance in that role have elevated the team to this next level.

Not sure Zubamendi would have had the same impact.

Hard to believe its the same guy as last season. He's been a revelation

I think that undersells just what a transformation there's been with Gravenberch.

He went from a bit part player who few could actually see having a sustainable long term role in the team to essentially one of the most important players in the squad.

          The turnaround is beyond remarkable

I think one of the things people complained about last season was his lack of physicality and ability to get stuck in, I don't think any of us last season saw him playing this well as a #6
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Was just about to post exactly that. Match threads last season he was called a pussy & too soft for the league, pulling out of 50/50’s etc but wow that’s certainly changed.

His reading of the game this season has been brilliant. Never going to be flying into challenges but his positioning and stepping in to nick the ball has been amazing.

From the £40M "what does he do" player of last season he now looks an absolute bargain.

Yeah it’s safe to say now after what we are seeing that he was played out of position as an 8 & it showed. Our midfield is so fluid with the double pivot & all 3 of the midfielders pop up near their 18 yd box regularly but at least 1 stays to cover. It’s beautiful to watch.

Quick snappy passes. I suggested he could possibly suit the dm role, certainly better than mac alister does!

He definitely has beefed up and can stand up to a shoulder barge. Something of a revelation.

Brings a tear to my eyes this. Proud parent moment seeing your son being appreciated after the last 2 seasons he’s had.

🥹 Ryan Gravenberch's dad has admitted he was reduced to tears when his son was given a standing ovation for #LFC earlier in the season.

🗣️ “I was at the 2-0 win over Brentford at Anfield earlier in the season and, one minute before the game ended, Arne took Ryan off so he could get the applause. I was in the stands and the whole stadium stood up and applauded. I just broke down because I thought: ‘They’re doing this for my boy.’ That was the moment where I thought: ‘This is it.'”
