Ryan Gravenberch on taking his game to another level this season: "It’s the coach that gives me the confidence. This season we have more freedom in the midfield. Last season I was only on the six, like deep, deep. Now I can go more forward, which you saw today."

He’s going to get plenty of assists this season with his passing ability. His close control and dribbling in tight spaces on the edge of the penalty area will be a key to unlocking a lot of deep defensive teams.

Yes, he's evolving into a truly world class player. Living up to the hype and potential from when he was a teenager.

Whatever he's on, double it quickly.

Easy to forget he is only 23.

Did he sign a 5 or 6 year deal, anyone remember?

Cheers K. It’s time to start negotiations then as he’s in to his 3rd season already.

                      From the BBC gossip section

Real Marid are interested in Liverpool and Netherlands midfielder Ryan Gravenberch, 23, who is valued at 75m euros (£65.3m). (Fichajes - in Spanish)

Apparently Xabi likes him (plausible) and has told the club he wants him (also plausible) but the bit about our valuation is clearly bollocks as his value is closer to double that.
                      Never knowingly optimistic

So that’s Mac Allister and Gravenberch that Alonso wants, according to Fichajes.

Along with Konate, obviously. On the back of Trent too.

I couldn’t imagine his valuation being less than £100m at present with just under 3 years left on his current deal.

Considering his time at Bayern and what Slot has done for him I’d be amazed if he wanted to leave any time soon. He’s happy and settled and playing so well.

I totally agree & he’s already seen how ruthless some managers are if you don’t hit the ground running.
