Which Liverpool player has frustrated you most?

For me it has to be Emil Heskey. He never used his physique. Built like a lion, played like a lamb. That was the difference between him being a great player and a legend

Harry Kewell is up there for me. Loads of talent but never really showed it for us, either injured or just couldn't get going.

Probably Stan Collymore. Buckets of talent but the application was half arsed for the most part.

I expect there'll be shouts for injury cases like Sturridge and Keita, but the frustration there is more to do with bad luck and circumstance than the players themselves imo.

Controversial - I'll pick a manager (that we all loved). Rafa Benitez. At one time, we had the best team in the league, but he was too rigid/conservative. We should have been league champions c2009.

I agree with the Heskey and Collymore shouts for the reasons mentioned, Collymore had a bad attitude and Heskey was too soft both should have done way more for us.

There are various players whose injury issues have been the cause of frustration who I won't go into.

Another player that was frustrating was Steve McManaman, him and Fowler were my two favourite players of the mid 90's. McManaman's was a fantastic player and ripped teams apart but his shooting was awful, he should have got way more goals than he did.

Yep, was so excited when we signed him, he chose us ahead of Utd, when realistically we were a bit meh. He was 'ok' for us, got injured a lot... but we were expecting him to be a Worldie to take us on to challenge and that just didnt happen.

Probably pretty much the same with Collymore. He will always have that goal vs the Geordies tho. And I suppose Kewell has a CL winners medal...

But both failed to deliver.

Harder to be as arsed about Keita (he was pap tho) as we won tons when he was here, he just didnt really contribute.
