    Wow
I know this is standard practice for teams with 5 bookings or more, but I would have thought that they would at least have had the decency to hold off while the cluster**** of their own making was at least investigated...

The club should just ignore it and tell the FA to **** off

I would be making the argument that the ref lost the plot after learning of the horrific mistake that they made and that influenced his judgement, requires proof that the ref knew of the error while the game was going on but still...

In 30 years of watching football ive never been this angry about a match. Still absolutely seething about that **** show.

Heads need to roll and the club need to man the **** up and throw down some serious allegations at the FA. They're either corrupt or utterly inept. Make a stand and declare war on them.

Also that Super League thing is starting to look pretty good now.

It was a **** show, but I take a lot of positives from it too, and hopefully the players do too, and don't get hung up on the injustice.

11v11, we were all over Spurs and it looked like the players were all on it.

10v11, 1st half - it was evenly matched, we should have taken the lead but even after going a goal down we never let our heads dropped.

10v11, 2nd half - the Jota sub was wrong for me, we needed more midfield control. Under the cosh, Alisson made a couple of "for the camera" saves. But otherwise, Spurs looked impotent and we had a couple of counters that Nunez would have loved to be involved in.

9v11 - Spurs created nothing, our boys knew their role and kept the 12 men of Spurs at bay. Took a top quality finish from poor Joel to give them a win.

The ref completely lost control of the game - it wasn't even a dirty game FFS.

All the yellows came after the disallowed goal which he knew about. So are we expected to believe the VAR cluster**** did not impact his own performance?

Actually we should send the notification of the fine to PGMOL and tell them to pay it, cos it's all on them.
We are here for a good time not a long time....

The way the game was handled seemed to change after the goal that wasn't.

Either lost the plot or by design!

Doesn’t stack up does it. In Rugby Union you hear/see the whole review so at least you understand why any decision is taken - even if you don’t agree. This current VAR process is completely the opposite - all behind closed doors - no accountability or understanding of why any decision is made.

Funnily enough I’m ok with the actual technology these days but these poor processes just leave it all open to doubt.

In all logical situations you have to believe that he knew it seems incredibly unlikely that he didn't know. The reality of it is he was in the stadium and VAR were in Stockley Park, so it requires them to have told him. If PGMOL shut up shop, don't release the audio or it goes 'missing' then they could argue that he didn't know unless he has already admitted to someone that he did.

Ordinarily I'm not sure we'd have appealed that one, given the letter of the law.

I wonder if we're playing for a goodwill overturn as a pay off for the goal **** up.
