Yep they try to push their back line up like they did against Arsenal and our front line will punish them

Klopp just needs to start his pre match team talks as though we are already 1-0 down

With Trent annoying that we have 2 league games before another international break, if they were lesser teams I'd rest him a few more weeks

Bajetic is out with a little calf niggle

Liverpool will, however, be without Bajcetic on Saturday evening, with the 18-year-old suffering a new calf injury which Klopp described as a “little setback.”

“Stefan had a little, little, little setback,” he explained.

“The problem with Stefan, we have to be really careful.

He's just come back from a major injury.

It seems fairly sensible to be careful with him.

I reckon we should just kick the ball straight in our net at the start and get it oer and done with

As per the OP's team I was wondering if Jones might finally be up for a rest. But since we don't have anyone with his energy (Szobo excepted) he is nailed on. I'd be surprised if it's more than 60 mins given our embarrassment of riches.

As per conceding first, one thing I've noticed is managers repeating the same mistake every game. It's no surprise we've won four games in a row with a 3-1 scoreline. It's fine to press us hard for 20-30 minutes like it's your CL final but after that your legs will go and we'll dominate the rest of the match.

Not sure this would be the best game for dropping Trent back into - Johnson is the type of Player Trent normally struggles with, especially when you have someone like Madison picking him out with those diagonals over the top.

Gomez has the recovery pace to deal better with this (at the expense of Trents attacking threat)

Trent Vs Gomez is the only question mark for me

Endo was brilliant last game, but I think Jones deserves a start

Nice to have to make these decisions!
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"

Johnson out, so likely to be Solomon starting.

Personally, I'd start Gomez for this, but if Trent is fully fit, it's tempting for Klopp to throw him straight back in, especially after his last performance.

However, Gomez has been playing well and his 'limitations' haven't necessarily blunted our attack. If we start Gomez and he struggles or we go behind, Trent is a great option to come on and change the flow of the game. If we start Trent and it backfires, our options are a bit more limited.

I don't think Klopp thinks like that though, he'll believe that if he picks his best team we win, so my gut feeling is Trent starts.

                              Alisson
                              Trent Matip VVD Robbo
                              Mac
                              Szobo Jones
                              Mo Nunez Diaz
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

For me I’d like to see

                                Alisson
                                Gomez Matip VVD Robbo
                                Szobo Jones
                                Gakpo
                                Mo Nunez Diaz

It is a bit more defensive, but it would be nice to keep a clean sheet for a change.
We are here for a good time not a long time....
