Watching the replays at half time, it still looks like a blatant red card and a pretty obvious onside for the Diaz goal. But still no VAR lines. I get that Diaz was leaning forward and the replay angle is quite weird, but still.

Yeah, not going to moan about the red, those will be given 9 times out of 10 in today's game, but that offside?? Unless we weren't shown the proper freeze frame, or the lines on the pitch are curved, then it's clearly onside, or close enough to warrant getting out the VAR kit out.

Is that the moment the ball is played? WADR it doesn't look like it. Sky are going to discuss it after the break by the sound of it and for those not watching, view in the studio was no red.
        Really?

The red is unlucky, but yeah. We’d be wanting it given the other way.

The offside looks miles on. I don’t see how that’s not been given.

              Mustoe and Earle say red.

It’s a really tough one, because there was zero intent, but it looks bad.

i reckon we'll hear 'var offside system not working so went with on field decision'

Is the 'foot over the ball' still a thing?

They don’t need the lines FFS - can clearly see he was on

Jones' foot almost comes around the ball and then over the top. If I'm honest I'd want a red if it was against us but that doesn't make it so.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
