Or if Darwin hadn't missed a load of sitters v Luton (although his Newcastle away cameo was sweet!!!)

Both spurs and luton bug the **** out of me. And Brighton as well to be honest where we should have mamaged the game a lot better.

However, it's so ****in sweet that we have our football team back again ffs. I said last season that i think a year in the europa would help the team in the long term because we have some great young players that would benefit from game time and we could also integrate our new signings. I can't believe that we effectively have a brand new midfield and watching this team play, its so hard to believe that they haven't been playing together for a lot longer.

****in hats off to the recruitment team at lfc and Jurgen and Pep and the rest of the coaches for integrating them so well. This is just the beginning for this team ffs and with the likes of Bajcetic Doak Quansah and others to develop too............Christ that is some prospect. You can see that Jurgen has his ****in mojo back because of it too.

Also, another reason to be positive I think is that we have got a lot of our tricky away games out of the way already. Spurs, Newcastle, Brighton, Chelsea, Man City.....even Wolves. Don't get me wrong, we still have places like Arsenal, Villa and Man United to go to........but it feels like we have quietly ticked off a lot of tricky fixtures in our first 15 games and now it might be nice of our home form continued and helped us deal with Man United and Arsenal this side of Xmas while also our rivals start to take points off each other (villa beating Coty the other day was great..... Lets hope both villa and Arsenal kick absolute lumps out of each other this weekend!!!)

The Arsenal home game on the 23rd is going to be ****in huge. They don't have the soft underbelly that they have had over the last 10 years or so any more and i think Rice has been a brilliant addition...... But anfield at 530 on Dec 23rd should be ****in electric and if we can get into them early then hopefully we can ****in do them ha ha

I was thinking the same at the end of last season- we’d a horrible season, was thinking we weren’t at a level where we’d go deep in the champions league anyway, and the benefit of playing Europa league would be that we’d rotate more- giving youngsters game time as ya say, but also resting some of our key players, and maybe give us a better chance in the league.

But as it turns out, I think we actually would have been one of the favorites for the CL, especially if we step it up a level in the second half of the season. Let’s just hope that the benefits of not being in it, is the difference in the title race and we bring home number 20.
        I don't tip

City and Arsenal both have a tough run of fixtures when the CL resumes. City's is particularly bad and if they get a tough CL draw, I don't think City at their recent best could even make it through unscathed. They won't go on a run like they did last year IMO.

Plenty more points will be dropped by all teams before the end of season, but if we maintain anything close to our current form, it should be more than enough to get the job done.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

This team just grinds out results. Doesn't know when it's beaten.

Expect a plethora of articles about Liverpool's resilience and the role Klopps squad management and use of the 5 subs has played in that.

I was thinking around the 70 min mark that if we somehow go on to win this we'll go on and win the league this season

We have won a ridiculous amount of points from losing positions this season.

Is it 18 now? It's good to be able to do that but I would prefer a few comfortable wins
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Is mad - we’ve so much we can improve on so this is very unexpected

Yes. Almost half our points which is ridiculous.

                              Great day for the reds.
