Next 2 league games are massive. Chelsea home next mid week then Arsenal away. Full points from both of them and we are in business.

Dropped points and City can pull level.

I thought the one on Clark was more clear cut, but the commentary hardly mentioned it. Another ‘check complete’ in seconds
We are here for a good time not a long time....

The linesman had his flag up for an offside for that one

Fulham in two days and then Norwich, noticed Adrian was on the bench, but assuming Kelleher is fit....we could use some players back soon. Fulham are coming off their winter break.

          Fulham XI

          Kelleher
          Bradley - Quansah - VVD - Gomez
          Gravenberch - Alexis - Clark
          Elliott - Gakpo - Diaz

Norwich will be difficult, we are down to the bare bones, with Chelsea coming soon after that.

            ...and Arsenal soon after that.

Think I would start a bit stronger in the middle than that against Fulham and then start more youth and ressie/squad players against Norwich instead.

Think if Szobo is deemed fit then I would have him getting at least 60 minutes against Fulham.

Would give Jota and Darwin 45 minutes each against Fulham too. Maybe Jota in the first half and Darwin on for the second. Give both a game off against Norwich.

Give the likes of Gravenberch, Gakpo, Kelleher and Quansah two starts in a row in the cup games.

Maybe even draft in Phillips for the Norwich game to give a senior CB an extra game off.

If we think that TAA is going to be ready for Chelsea, give him a run out for maybe 30 mins in the second half against Norwich. Same with anyone else we want to give a few game time minutes to in order to help get up to match fitness.

Win at home to Chelsea and then away to arsenal and i reckon we are in the driving seat

if we can keep 5 ahead with their game in hand then it leaves us with, what, City home, Utd away, Spurs home, Villa away of the tough fixtures. Ev away arguably.

we have 4 very very winnable games after these ones: Burnley, Brentford, Luton, Forrest- not taking anything for granted, but anything less than 12 points from that would be disappointing.

After that we have city at home- if we go into that ahead of them, I think we have a great chance- the onus would be on them to win that game, and might play into our hands. If we are ahead of them coming out of the game, with only 10 games to go, I reckon there’d be no catching us.

The annoying thing is that city have easy enough fixtures before they play us.

I think we need to beat them at Anfield to win the league to be honest but i think we can do it. The atmosphere at Anfield that day will be electric. Guaranteed that paul Tierney will be the ref that day

Yup, but on the flip side they have a tough run of games starting with the game at anfield. So if we’re ahead of them going into the game, there will be serious pressure on them- knowing that after us, they have Brighton, Arsenal, Villa…

It hurts to defend Tierney, but the Macca red-card was successfully appealed so one would've thought the ref and VAR would have taken away a learning from that so, if the same situation arose today, Macca would not get a red-card. There does need to be some explaining about yesterday's though, because NO card was shown (indeed, no free kick was given although that might have been because they thought they were playing advantage).

They are a KDB injury away from losing the title in my opinion.

I think you’re giving Tierney too much credit. He never changes his behaviour. He just gives a bs explanation, apologises if he has too, and then is free to carry on with his agenda when he’s regularly selected for our games.

Rodri, if I could pick one. Same as when they had Fernandinho, any spell with him out of their team and they start dropping points.
