Then was back in training in mid to late summer and in some squads then until late September (I think) when he went out injured again.

Edit: Just looked at the seasons that are listed as being the ones during which Gerrard suffered various growing related injuries.

1999/00 - 31 games in all comps (29 in the league) He was 19 when the season started and turned 20 at the end of the season.

2000/01 - 50 games in all comps (33 in the league).

Of course it is apples and oranges when comparing different players, just that Gerrard did not miss many games to growing pains when young and certainly was not out for months on end with them.
I could be wrong but my recollection was that they were more in the period before he started playing for the first team, and that essentially if it weren't for those issues he would likely have made his first team debut earlier. So I'm not sure the stats/info on that would necessarily be out there.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Was just going by what I could find online and on his wiki page where it said he started developing back and muscle issue due to growing pains from the 1999/2000 season onwards.

Does not mean those issues were not there before he was more well known and in that pre first team period you mentioned
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Maybe when he comes back he'll be 8ft or something.

          Massive week.

Chelsea at home on Weds then Arsenal away next Sunday. Win both and City go away to Brentford 8 points behind us with one more in hand).

              So, next up Arsenal away.

Win it, and we go 8 points clear of them.

We’d also be 8 clear of City who’d have 2 in hand.

              Massive game.

Yeah it's a big one alright, it would be huge to win there and lay down a marker. Tough place to go but we are capable of getting the 3 points. Gonna be a fiery one.

Massive game. It wouldn’t knock Arsenal out but they’d have be pretty much perfect while if we did drop points it wouldn’t take us out and I’d still feel confident. More pressure on them? Especially being their home game.

The psychological boost it would give us would be huge. Might not necessarily ruin city but they’d definitely worry more about us if we won at Arsenal.

16 games to go. I think, if we win 12 of those and don’t lose against City, that wins us the title.

They are still being touted as favourites. No one really seems to be backing us to win it. Long may that continue.

We are looking pretty incredible at the minute, even without Mo. Almost wish the City game was next as I think we'd beat them.

A bit of luck with injuries and it's well within our grasp.

I'd still put City down as narrow favourites.

They have reeled in the final part of the season on so many occasions. And they have KdB and Haaland back in time, and quite probably fresh.

The match at Anfield will be absolutely pivotal, but we'll need almost maximum points from the other 15 too.

The fixture pile up is about to get crazy too. I read that if we win the next FA cup game and go all the way in Europe, there will be no free midweeks left until the Europa League final.

It could become similar to that crazy season where the top spot being traded with every match of the run in, both teams winning relentlessly and not giving an inch.
                        Oh I don't know.

That puts us on between 87 and 91 points at the end of the season before these crazy seasons with us and City you would say that's fair enough, but City are usually capable of putting massive winning streaks together when they are in a battle, I can see that being the case here, so am not convinced that will necessarily be enough.

They do have players coming back but by the same token we have TAA, Robertson, and Thiago all back in full training. We have Salah and Endo to return and we have almost all of our other injured players save for Matip and Bajcetic back.

We also have an awful lot of players looking like they are coming into rich veins of form along with a number of the new players looking very settled in their roles.

Throw in that we have form for finishing seasons with sustained runs of good form and it all points to it being very much in our own hands.

City are in a position where they pretty much have to beat us and they also have to win their game in hand. If they do both those things they still have to match our results for the rest of the season to keep a one point lead.

Whereas we can draw to City and match their games for the rest of the season and there is nothing they can do.

City also have the chance of extra games via the FA cup and the CL so they run the chance of injuries and/or fatigue too

                              March looks to be pivotal.

Citeh play United at home, Us away, Brighton away and Arsenal at home. That's far and away their toughest remaining stretch of the season.

Wouldn't mind Citeh dropping points in two or three of those games.

I won't see us as favourites even if we beat Arsenal, we need to beat City too and then I'll believe!
