Wasn’t sure where to put this but wonder if this has anything to do with Edwards potential return although that seems unlikely. Probably hope rather than a move that doesn’t change anything.

Liverpool CEO Billy Hogan has been appointed CEO of FSG International, announced at this afternoon's FSG annual partners conference in Bonita Springs, Florida. It won't be impacting his day-to-day involvement of being CEO of Liverpool.

What I don't get on these things is the lack of consistency.

I mean it's called out in a. cup final then 3 days later its okay ?

FFS - Surely Howard Webb said his troops, listen lads - that was a tight margin call in the final, any of those happen for the next few weeks, your gonna have to give them - Lads - Yep, Boss

          3 day later **** you baldy !

I mean, if you are gonna protect your own, stop throwing yourself under buses
I make no apologies, this is me

You need a business CEO and a head of football (de facto football CEO), the two roles would work together but have different responsibilities. I don’t think they are related tbh

Yeah didn’t think there was anything really to it but just the talk the other day about if Edwards came back the more powerful role he would have in running things and maybe taking more of an overall role at the club. Got me overthinking for a second about Hogan and Edwards splitting things up. But I doubt there is anything really major in it.

City looms on the horizon then. Usually I dread these sorts of games, and the build up to them, but I won't this time.

The reality is we might not be involved in massive "title deciders" like this for a while, and sadly not with Klopp in charge, so I will cherish every last moment leading up to the game (and of course the game itself).

They still have one solitary injury (to a player way off form anyway), while we have a million, but, and it's a big but, Anfield will be incredible on Sunday and it genuinely could be the difference maker.

Oh and what a terrible idea to put the biggest game of the season on Mother's Day

I know what you mean, although I don't think we're in title decider territory as yet, especially as it's a three horse race.

If (IF) we beat City, we move 5 points ahead of them. Assuming Arsenal beat Sheff U and Brentford

the table on the 31st March would look:

                    Liverpool 66
                    Arsenal 64
                    City 62

We would than have a game at home v Brighton on the 31st - win that.

                    Liverpool 69
                    Arsenal 64
                    City 62

City then play Arsenal 4:30 on the 31st....

Draw please. We would then be played 29.

                    Liverpool 69
                    Arsenal 65
                    City 63

9 games to go and a 4 point lead. 6 over City. Game on.

Could happen. Or we could lose to city and be third. **** knows.

I’m positive scenarios only until/if they are ruled out.

Yeah, but I think negativity is his pre-match ritual now and it’s working really well, so I’m happy for him to continue!

I really hope you manage to predict the end of March positions and points!

It 100% is. I’d be freaked out if I didn’t see that 0-0 pre match prediction!
