I feel like the whole season has been a free hit as we've just rebuilt the whole midfield, blooded youth team players, and had to deal with countless injuries to experienced players.

And yet, and yet we're joint top (GD notwithstanding), with players on their way back, and a number of home games to go.

We laughed at Taffs Tavern but to change the line slightly, you don't have to win the league to be a winner. It's been incredible so far!

that would be great. If Arsenal go out on Tuesday, I’ll be worried about them finishing strong in the league, playing once a week.

Nonsense. Firstly there’s no easy games. In the last few weeks, we scraped past forest, arsenal scraped past brentford and city were jammy to beat Bournemouth. Yaaa there’s the games that each of us should win on paper, but there will be some shocks in there. Also we don’t all only have 1 hard game left. We all play spurs, that will be a tough one for us all. City have yet to win in that stadium. Also villa, Brighton etc will be tough games. Why is United away a hard game for us but not for arsenal?

Also city beating arsenal is the one result I want to avoid in that game. A draw is best, but Arsenal winning would be second best I reckon. Yes, if they beat city I’ll start to really take them seriously, but city have the easiest (even if there’s no easy games haha) run in. They’re also the team who have shown they can cope with the pressure of a title race, and have shown they can do a 10+ game winning streak. Arsenal still have to play city(a), Chelsea(h), Brighton (a), Villa(h), spurs(a), United(a). I can’t see them winning all of them.

Didn't City beat them in the FA Cup there in the last round?

This is actually one of Klopp's most entertaining season's, the title winning was fun before the lockdown, CL winning was also fun obviously, but this time, he just finds solutions to anything, I really feel he's now a better manager than he was at the start, lucky club that get's him in next.
                * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

If we all play spurs doesn't that imply spurs are fecked? They will be knackered. And we're the last ones to face them right? So either they will still be in the top 4 race, meaning they've taken points off Arsenal/City or they're well out of it by the time they face us.
                  One tit for another.

All 3 teams play Villa as well and 2 of the 3 play Man U.

Race for 4th is going to be pretty tight

Ffs we've really been on the end of some hideous calls this season. It would galling to lose the title and look back as those calls, in those particular games being the reason why we aren't champions. The officiating had been nothing short of a disgrace and it's so hard not to keep talking about it as this **** keeps on happening.

League looks almost certain now to go down until the final day of the season now. It is so tight and I think it will stay that way until the end.

We can finish with a maximum of 94 points. I'm guessing we will need around 90-92 to win it. That means one more draw and win the rest and we will probably win it. It's a really tall order but it is definitely possible.

To get anywhere near that points total with a massive squad rebuild and an insane number of injuries, and some dodgy decisions going against us is a ridiculous achievement.

Yaaa might be recency bias, but I think this season has been the worst officiating ever. Even apart from the massive calls, things like stupid yellows for taking a 5 seconds to take a throw in, when it’s clearly not tactical time wasting, or yellows for waving imaginary cards etc.

With all the big calls, it’s var that I’m annoyed with more than the on field ref- the ref can make a mistake, but when your watching it back on video, it’s inexcusable… and what really annoys me is the way the rules are written- like “clear and obvious”. I feel like that’s there as a get out of jail card for the officials. “Ohhh we got the wrong call, no because it wasn’t clear and obvious…” also the lack of transparency. We should be able to hear them live, but at the very least we should get some sort of referee/var report after the game. We’ve been using var for 5 years now, we shouldn’t still be ironing out the wrinkles.

Also I think the media is partly to blame- they don’t hold them accountable at all. They amount of bull**** articles about Trent saying our success meant more to our fans, but noones doing any sort of detailed analysis on refereeing standards.

I don't know about you but Villa and Man Utd look knackered. Hopefully they stay tired when we play them!

In recent weeks Brighton have conceded 4 against Roma, 3 against Fulham, 4 against Luton (admittedly I’m going back to the end of Jan for that one). I’d be delighted with a 1-0 win, but would be class if we could smash them by 4/5, clawing the GD back to 2/3 behind Arsenal. Then our next game is Sheff United at home- if Arsenal do beat city and are edging us by goal difference, you’d like to think we’d go all out against Sheff United and hopefully rack up a fair few goals. If we’re trailing on goal difference, I imagine we wouldn’t take the foot off the break, and could maybe put 6/7 past them.
