We cruised the game, great 3 points with little energy spent. Also great that our fringe players seem to be getting good mins in.

It comes down to would it have gone into the goal without intervention from anyone, so if it hit the post and goes in it's a goal so was on target, if it hits the post and goes wide or back onto the pitch it wasn't on targetOriginally posted by SB View PostBoo the pair of you. So if it hits the post & goes out it’s not on target but hits the post & goes in it’s on target.
Not my interpretation anyway. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Exactly. If the ball hasn't crossed the goal line and it didn't require an opposition player to prevent it from doing so, then it can't have been on target.Originally posted by SB View PostBoo the pair of you. Did we have Steve Hunter on comms in Australia (Optus Sport)? Felt more like LFC TV than Optus Sport (it was all about LiverpoolOriginally posted by SB View PostAnd Steven Warnock saying in commentary that it doesn’t count as a shot on target
). My favourite stat - when Jota scores, we apparently always win.
Another MASSIVE game
