    Burnley (a) - Premier League - 26th Dec 2023, 5:30pm

Hope everyone is enjoying their Christmas lunch. Except Burnley players. Hopefully they all get the two bob bits from dodgy turkey.

They have been **** so far this season but maybe just turning a bit of a corner
Their last result - a 2 nil win away to fulham is a good result for any team.

Hopefully we smash these cunts though and go top for a few days.

    Becker

    Trent konate Virgil gomez

    Szoboaslai endo jones

    Salah nunez gakpo

Can’t disagree with the suggested side but it’ll come down to the science guys to say who needs a rest I suppose. Quansah & Elliot could be considered chances of starting too.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

100% must win. After 4 points dropped in our last two league matches it’s essential to get back to winning ways.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Burnley being playing stupidly open football all season apparantly so watch them park the bus against us.

Only seen them play once this season and the Irish lad Dara O Shea stood out in that game as a one man wall. He seemed to win everything in the air and get something on almost any ball City tried to play into his part of the back line.

Was pretty good on the ball too and came out with it a lot. Probably nowhere close to being at our level but why he stood out to me was down to him being a right footer playing at LCB and on that day he seemed to have pace.

Seen him play for Ireland of course and he has generally looked tidy, but against the Citys and Liverpools of the world you get to see a defender dealing with almost constant pressure.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

This is on Amazon Prime BTW.

I hope Elliott plays right mifield and Nunez on the left of attack with Gakpo centre
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

Really need each of Grav, Gakpo and Nunez to get to silencing some of the doubts here.

Really need to go at these, prefer Nunez on the left and see how he works with Grav. 3 points is a must. Nice to see Jota back.Very strong bench and not surprised Dom got benched, he needed a rest. Lot of energy off that bench.
