Same as with Quansah, he has come in and we’ve not seen any downturn in performance or standards. It’s really very impressive.

Gomez played that role last night with coming inside into midfield so whilst it wasn't Trent its still how we play.

The goal was lovely but the moment he held off Sterling waiting for the ball to fall out of the sky was beautiful

Early days of course. But last night was an out of this world performance.

If Bradley & Quansah fulfil their potential, they’re saving us anything between £80m and £120m or thereabouts.

I think since it’s early days Neco might be a fairer comparison but he does look even more promising

Flanagan was a carthorse who was quick enough in his youth.

Once he got injured and lost some pace, he was exposed for the average player he was.

                Bradley looks far better technically

[Opta] 2 – In the history of the Premier League, only two defenders aged under 21 have been directly involved in 3+ goals in a game: Trent Alexander-Arnold, Feb 2019 (v Watford) Conor Bradley, Jan 2024 (v Chelsea)

Neco looked awful when he first came in. I thought his last season for us he had improved massively, and I thought we were mad to sell as we had no cover for Trent, and Neco was quite good going forward.

I think Bradley has hit the ground running after his successful loan last year. I think Bolton has probably toughened him up a bit, adding to a great skillset.

Good analysis of Bradleys performance against Chelsea

Fairer than Flanagan imo. We don't know yet if he's genuinely this good, he's a few games in and opposition defences will be needing to work out his game ASAP, so his output won't be like this forever.

But semantics, he's the new Conor Bradley and no mistake.

Poor lads father has passed away.

Awful for someone so young to loose their father.

He'd no doubt have been extremely proud of his son's achievements.

Seemed he was ill and maybe not unexpected.

What a range of emotions for the lad this week

I think his dad had MND.

Tough for the young lad hope his dad got to experience the last few weeks for Connor.
