I agree it is highly unlikely, but it would make sense of all the coaching staff quitting at the same time. They can’t all need a rest surely & Klopp had got them all good pay rises when he renewed his contract?

I suppose FSG already having a candidate lined up, with their own coaching team would also explain it though.

I guess we will just have to wait until the end of the season to find out.
We are here for a good time not a long time....

Wouldn't be surprised to see Nagelsmann or Tuchel turn up!
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

Just said it another thread, I'd be surprised if Xabi chose Bayern over us

The Bayern job comes up almost every year whereas managing LFC is potentially a once in a lifetime opportunity.

I think Xabi is either at Leverkusen or Liverpool next season.

Going to Bayern is having a rest.

              Agreed

He may go to Bayern or Real in the future, I just dont see it now. Timing works for us, not against us imo.

Dont see him as a Judas type.
              Modifying post.

If he goes to Bayern then he isnt the right manager for us anyway. So just look for someone else.

Getting wedding to one person/player always leads to ruin. Look what happened with us the other season waiting for Bellingham or Tchouameni. Wasted time and effort.
                *Except Michael, who died.

Xabi to Bayern a done deal.

We held talks with Stevie last week, he wants full control of transfers. Apparently wants to build a team around Richarlison who shares the same agent as him.

If he has any ambition of managing LFC, this is his chance, may not get another one. However there is a massive IF, that’s IF the owners want him, they quite possibly could have a completely different plan/management team in mind. Both scenarios as likely as each other imo.

I hope we get Alonso. I think he could build something sustainable.

If he doesn't come, then to be honest I'd be happy enough to see Ljinders get the gig with an experienced DoF working above him. I think that continuity route might be the best second option to be honest..... Pep Ljinders knows our squad and could essentially continue the good work done.

If it ends up being a Potter, De Zerbi or Thomas Frank, then i will be under-****in-whelmed to be honest

I don't think Ljinders has enough gravitas to take over. His familiarity might breed contempt.

Bringing back someone that has worked here before, that knows the behind the scenes set up under Klopp, that knows our youth set ups and so on makes a lot of sense alright.
