One very important factor to take into consideration is experience.Originally posted by Cerbie View Post
Klopp's value is his ability to recreate , remould and adapt.that comes from experience and failure something that Xabi has yet to have. History is littered with good managers that have done a great job at one club and then failed to translate it later on elsewhere. I think numbers don't lie, but we should look at a manager that has repeated success at successive clubs.
I like the look of Ruben Armorim. He is educated and has had impact at two clubs that he has managed.Jacques Brel is alive and well and playing at Anfield

I like him too. From everything I've read and heard he's a top manager in the making. He was only at Braga for 6 months though to be fair.Originally posted by 5europeancups View PostOne very important factor to take into consideration is experience.

I think they are the two outstanding up and coming managers and I'd be happy with either of them.Last edited by Pablo; 23-02-24, 10:32 AM.

I'd want Xabi because we'd then have a strong chance of signing WirtzOriginally posted by Irishnev View PostAmorim would be my no2 after Xabi and I want Xabi due to his ties with the club. Amorim has won stuff (Xabi should this year) plus he is punching above his weight vs Benfica and Porto

I think it's also important that whoever we get in, has character and charisma. Xabi has that aura, Tuchel and Nagelsman are good tacticians but they are not genuine leaders IMO. Plus Xabi's reputation and experience as a player also is invaluable. Clear number one choice for me, then Amorim, hope it's one of those two.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Yup. Some player him.Originally posted by DerKrampus View PostI'd want Xabi because we'd then have a strong chance of signing Wirtz
I've actually had a beer with Xabi and Case. Xabi absolutely has an aura about him. He's quiet but extremely confident and loves football. In fact he was watching some game I can't even remember what it was, but he was more engaged in that game than our ****e chat most of the time.Originally posted by The_weatherman View PostI think it's also important that whoever we get in, has character and charisma. He's my clear favourite and it's a hot take but whatever. I've seen the data but that relies on the players and the teams in question as much as the manager. That said clearly that Portuguese fella knows his onions as well.
It's a big call. I'd be inclined to go all in with Xabi but surely FSG already know if it's a goer or not.

Here's summat to think about & apologies if this has already been touched on already!
We get our new manager in & after a couple of years it doesn't work out, would Klopp be interested in coming back if still on sabbatical? Or himself being back in management & the loyalty he shows on his contracts, would he be able to resist the temptation of coming back home?Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!
