I think there’s definitely sense in trying to keep consistency and changing formation for Amorim might have been a shakeup too much for this summer, same with Inzaghi. We have a squad and youth setup focused on producing players for a back four and front three. The obvious negative with Slot is that it’s a **** league and a huge step up so risky.

I think they are looking for the most straight forward transition based on the players we have. I’ve a good Dutch mate who is a season ticket holder at both Liverpool and Feyenoord. He rates him highly but thinks Liverpool is a huge step up
