It doesn't matter anyway as we battered them. I just think it's kinda weird how we keep piling up, and rightfully so, all the awful decisions that have gone against us, but pretend there's nothing on the other end. Some posters probably feel like there hasn't been a single bad decision that's gone our way this season.
    That’s not true.

It’s ok that we disagree. I think sometimes we forget how difficult a job the officials have, and then we don’t know the discussion that happens in VAR so we aren’t enlightened as to why the decisions aren’t overturned.

For me Chelsea were diving all game which affected the onfield decisions. Then VAR couldn’t find enough evidence to over turn. Gallagher wasn’t going to score so he was looking for contact. He got it.

I think the other one looks worse in slow Mo, but could well have been given onfield. It is key that the decision has to be enough evidence to overturn the onfield decision. The take would be that the level of contact didn’t provide enough contact for the foul.

Would I be disappointed if they’d gone against us? Probably. Especially if we were 4-1 down.
    Modifying post.

They only showed one angle slowed down on my coverage so it’s hard to tell. How many time have you seen something from a different angle and changed your mind. The slow mo always makes things look different. And like Buzzo said they’d been diving a lot before that and been booked for it.

Or our favourite ref realised we would win the game easily from the start so thought he’d save the royal final **** over for a bigger game

Would anyone be interested in sighing Sterling?

I agree, I wish supporters in general could put a side a little bit of the tribalism, it's tiring listening to LiVARpool after every game, debating refs and whatnot. I'd have wanted two pens today for sure, but I do think that Nkunku's theatrics counted against him, in real time I thought it was nothing because of exaggerated it was.

They got away with decisions in the reverse, we did now. Got the feeling though that could've scored more if we needed to, and if the game was in more of a balance we'd not have subbed off 40% of our outfield team at once.
            * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

That was utterly ferocious. Reminiscent of peak Liverpool 1.0 under Klopp.

              Exhilarating to watch. Relentless.

We haven't played quite like that consistently for some time.

Arsenal next. We'll need to be at that level again to beat them. The prize, knocking them out of the title race.
              Oh I don't know.

BTW, how far off it are Chelsea? They were awful.

If I was supporter I'd be asking some serious questions. A billion spent and they are showing no signs of demonstrating that was well spent.

20 points behind after 22 games.

That said, United and Newcastle are only a point better off.

                Happy days!

                  Newcastle 30 days ago?

Bombarded them for 90 minutes and broke the expected goals record.

They’ve some talented players but it looks like a bunch of individuals chucked together rather than any semblance of a team.

                    Long may that continue though!

Yes, it's been a while since we consistently played like that.

And I for one, welcome it.

The first post did sound like you were talking about last night in isolation.

                          Classy club.

Chelsea captain Chilwell abandons their mascot on the pitch and Chelsea blame Liverpool for it.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

This is what you get in the era of "post engagement". I don't think any of these morons actually believe this nonsense. It is entertaining to read sometimes though.
