Forest away Build up Match day 27

    Away on Saturday at 3pm

Hopefully we get a few bodies back for this one. Some midfielders in particular would certainly help.

Possibilities on returning could be Szobo, Nunez & Mo. Anybody else spring to mind?
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I reckon Dom and and Nunez will return at least, Diaz and Endo too.

    Kelleher
    Bradley Konate Virgil Robertson
    Mac Endo Dom
    Gakpo Darwin Diaz

Clark, McConnell, Gomez, Quansah, Danns, Elliott.

Rotate again a bit for Prague.

      Salah (if fit) for Gakpo.
      Modifying post.

Starting to go off on Gakpo as not what I thought he was bought for...Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for his contributions in matches & some of his goals have gotten us out of trouble in some matches but he's in danger of being overtaken by Danns or somebody else.
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

I think we'll see Mo, Diaz and Darwin upfront.

Not taking Gakpo off until the 90th minute was a big tell.

He played 90 minutes on Sunday and another 90 minutes last night. If Mo or Darwin were struggling for fitness then i think Gakpo would have been off a lot earlier.

1 Bradley has played 72 and 90 minutes this week....I wonder whether JK might play Quansah there on Saturday.

2 Suspect Dom won't be trusted for the whole 90 minutes so I wonder whether he'll start or come on after an hour or so. If he doesn't start, I suspect there might be another run out for Clark.

3 Ditto re Darwin (and Mo). I can see the front 3 being Gakpo, Diaz and a youngster, with Mo and Darwin primed to come on in the second half.

Yeah, said the same to my lad yesterday, Gakpo is a good squad player, but there is doesn't seem to an awful lot between him and Danns.

Anyone know the state of Forest? Did they play their full XI against Utd.

If we want conspiracies, VvD's first goal was ruled out so we would likely go to a gruelling extra time. Utd's same offside goal was not ruled out by the exact same ref so Forest would NOT get knackered for us.

Their trade off being Utd not going to extra time for the City game.
                One tit for another.

Bit of a stretch that but if a fresher Utd go on to beat City then not sure where it would benefit City in the title chase

Fingers crossed we'll get a few players back - I wouldn't want to go there with the squad from last night.

                    My team would be:

                    Kelleher
                    Bradley - Konate - VVG - Robertson
                    Clark - Endo - Macca
                    Salah - Nunez - Diaz

Assuming Salah, Nunez and Endo are fit enough. Hopefully Dom on the bench and stick Elliot on at 60 for Mo.

ah, but if you look at it through Webb's eyes, reducing our chances of success in any competition is always a win and at the same time making Utd fresher for their derby game and giving them hope in the FA Cup will please any Utd fan.

The reality will be they lose to City at the weekend and (hopefully) us in the quarters.
We are here for a good time not a long time....

I think he was extremely tired - he's much better than that.

I don't think Nunez and Salah will both start coming back from injuries, one might but the other will be on the bench, I doubt the starter will play more than an hour

                            Lets smash these cunts.

I think it will be a tricky game tbh though.

Yeah, it's a fair point, he played quite a few minutes.
