Sheffield at home Match Day 30 Thurs 4th April

Home game vs SU on Thursday 4th April at 1930 local time .

Chances are we won’t be top at KO time with Arse at home to Luton on Wednesday. City have a tougher match at home with Villa.

I imagine Ibou comes back in for this one & possibly Harvey. Is it time to give Timmy a start also?
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I reckon Emery will sense the weaknesses that Arteta didn't have the bottle (yeah I said it) to exploit. Hopefully villa can do us a huge favour.

I don't know if Arsenal's mind set is right any more. Arteta could have really boosted them mentally if he let loose with his attackers. Now they're just thinking do we have the bottle? We were top and now we're two points behind. Bad juju. Luton to spring a surprise.
    One tit for another.

Imagine the feeling going into this match if both Arse & City drop points the day before.

I'd wait on Konate and save him for United.

        Kelleher
Bradley - Quansah - VVD (Gomez) - Tsimikas
        Elliott - Endo - Mac
        Salah - Darwin - Gakpo
        * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Has to be a game that target as a way to boost our GD.

SU are a woeful team and we surely need to go at them full on from the first whistle.

Just looking at their table position and they have a goal difference of -50 already and conceded 77 goals in total.

Does anyone keep an eye on how many yellow cards our players have by any chance? Just wondering who is walking a tight rope & could pick up a suspension for example?

Darwin and Endo are each on 8 yellows. If either of them pick up 2 more yellows in the next 3 games, then it's a 2 match suspension.

I was thinking that last week when we were level with Arsenal…. But… if for example we’re 3-0 up on 60 min, there might be a good case to bring on some of the kids, and just take it easy in general- we ran out of juice at old trafford in the cup, need to make sure it doesn’t happen again on Sunday. 6 points from the next 2 games would be a hell of a lot better than 4 points, and a big boost to our GD. But I agree it would be great to put 6/7 past them… but also as long as we get 3 points, and no injuries, a 1-0 will do, haha
                  I don't tip

Cheers Mark. Need them available for the United match for sure.

Yep 3 points & the other stuff will look after itself. Need to play with freedom

The two things don't have to be mutually exclusive. If we are 3-0 up on 60 minutes (realistically it will be 3-1 up) then we will keep going for the jugular with Danns and Salah. Resting Nunez and Diaz for Sunday.

We really need to and have the opportunity to smash these with the amount of chances we create. If we go full tilt imo we can hit these for 4 or 5 and boost that goal difference.

Go into the game with the mentality we have against the best teams. Go at them like we are up against a peer and play as such.

Get an early goal and then do all we can to eviscerate them.

TBH we need to be going into all nine remaining league games with that attitude.
