Pretty much what Norbs said he would do to SB if he ever meets him

If you believe Paddy Power, Bez is the fourth official and Kirk from Corrie is on VAR

To be fair Paddy Power probably have more credibility tan PGMOL
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

SU are a woeful team and we surely need to go at them full on from the first whistle.

Just looking at their table position and they have a goal difference of -50 already and conceded 77 goals in total.
This game would’ve been a great opportunity to really eat into their goal difference advantage. They’re 6 goals better off than us in GD & they beat Sheff Utd 6-0 away.

Unfortunately, with Old Trafford being just 3 days later, I can see a bit of rotation for tomorrow night which will likely turn this into a 3-0 or 3-1 sort of resul, rather than the potential 6-0 it could’ve been.

Main thing is the three points so a scrufy 1-0 win would do. Just think SU are such a bad team that if we went at them full intensity we could run up the proverbial cricket score.

The only time we've won by 4 goals or more in the league this season was 0-4 against Bournemouth in January. Once. That's it. In contrast Arsenal have done it 6 times!

I mainly account this to us starting games slowly. Just putting out our full strength XI is no guarantee of a big win really. I think fresh legs can be just as important in a game like this.

Go at them hard from the kick-off, score early and it could easily be a big win. We have to start fast.

I agree but I can’t see us going full intensity, nor at entirely full strength, due to the quick turnaround of games.

If the next game was a week away, we’d probably stick 6 past these. As it is though, I can’t see us doing so. Hope I’m wrong.

We need goals, 1-0 wins are fine, but 3/4 is better, because of Arsenal sitting on 6 goal difference better than us.

Arsenal could easily put 5 or 6 past Luton tonight by the way. They've lost 7 of their last 9 and drew the other two. They are the type of team Arsenal pick apart with ease.

I think goal difference might be all but out of the equation by the time we kick off tomorrow night.

Get an early goal and then do all we can to eviscerate them.

TBH we need to be going into all nine remaining league games with that attitude.
yeah we have some tough fixtures, some real potential banana skins ahead. Gonna be nervy times in certain games but we should be smashing the likes of Sheff at Anfield.

Possibly true alright with the quick turn around but I'm hoping we start with the strongest side, get the job done early and then rotate. The lads coming back from injury is great timing for us.

That could well be what happens. But getting the job done early, for me, means getting maybe 3-0 up. At that stage, we make subs and perhaps it doesn’t then become 6-0.

That being said, I think we’ll see at least 3 or 4 changes tomorrow.

Reckon the likes of Elliott, Gakpo, Tsimikas and Gravenberch could all start. Games every 3-4 days now, the run-in is relentless. If we don’t rotate, they’ll run themselves into the ground. And then we probably don’t get over the line.
