Not sure that they necessarily want him to have longer ban, the PL ****ed up the process, they (or at least someone there) assumed it was an automatic 2 match ban when they didn't have the power to do that the FA have to deal with it.

If I were the club I would be pointing out this in the process, not only are the officials incompitent, but at best the process is too, at worst the PL are trying to influence the outcome of the hearing and assuming Slot's guilt and punishment

Yeah, i would think two games would be the maximum and the most likely outcome given Slot's almost admission of guilt.

My understanding is that a the standard sanction is 2 match ban, hence that being initially reported.

However as it's gone to a hearing, suggests that there's more to it than a standard sanction.

No. We don't even know yet if he's getting a two match ban.

Both clubs and Slot and Hulshoff have until Wednesday to respond to the charges.

Then a panel will decide if punishment is nessacery and what it will be. Then there's potential for that to be appealed too.
