He's told me he has it on very good, reliable information that Slot will remain until the end of the season then he's off, the club won't be keeping him on as manager.

He wouldn't say for obvious reasons who his contact is but I have no reason not to dispute it, he attends a fair few United games so I imagine he does know people from within the game.
Not saying he does or doesn’t have info either way, but that is some generous reasoning as to why he could!

That's just speculation. But the signs are pretty clear, absolutely dead silent on contract talks despite them starting in the summer.

It'd take a massive turnaround in performances before the end of the season if he were here next season. And I doubt that happens with 12months left on his contract.

I've no idea but I'd be surprised if Alonso wasn't leading us into preseason next season.

I think Slot is Toast but I’m not as convinced as some of you that Alonso is the answer.

Once the T’s capitalised, it’s no longer a joke.

The T needs a blue tick if it’s to be taken seriously

I think all this stuff about Slot going at the end of the season or maybe soon if results are bad or whatever is rubbish. The media needs headlines and experience shows that stories that the manager is on the precipice are popular. And why anyone would believe a ManUre fan claiming to be ITK about our club beats me. Similarly, I believe stories about Slot's relationship with key people like Hughes deteriorating are also fantasy. Too many of tge fans that want these stories to be true seem to think they are, from wherever they are sitting and whatever their knowledge of what is actyally going on and experience of football management, better able to take the right football decisions for Liverpool than Slot, Unbelievable.

Bearing in mind how I felt about football after the Liverpool FC-related tragedies over the summer, I was not surprised that some players weren't in the right headspace. The early victories were adrenaline-based wonders and, as everyone knows, after a while that adrenaline gets replaced with an overwhelming tiredness and dullness - regardless of how much you are paid to run and be instantaneous in your reactions.

And TAA was our most creative passer and Diaz the attacker with the best work effort when the chips are down, So two big losses. Players like Macca, Mo and Ibou were giants last season, but have struggled for form - and to my eyes in some cases consistent full fitness too. This aalphas a big impact.

After the heavy defeats the number one priority was to stabilise things. It was daft to think the way out of the mess we were in would be dashing, good to watch football. There had been too much confidence-draining underperformance for that. People have called for Chiesa to be used more but recently when he has started a couple of games he has been invisible. Endo when last used was similarly ineffective compared to his first two seasons. Nguhoma clearly isn't ready yet for anything more than a series of cameos. I suspect the same is true of Nyoni. Slot is not using these players because of the stepdown in the quality of performance involved, not because of an unsubstantiated lack of trust.

When a football team goes through a sustained bad patch, its fans have a choice. They can switch off - or worse, look for kneejerk reactions - or they can get behind the players and the club and give them the support they need to get through that season.

Yep, nothing concrete but the contract talks tell us a fair amount.

Appreciate that mate, he's not your normal Man United I hate everything Liverpool, I chat a lot about football with him when I see him and he's pretty sound and an older fella. I don't know who he's heard it off of course as he said he can't say, it's possibly not true but there's always a chance it COULD be true, I guess we'll find out later in the year.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Calvin Ramsay must be psyched hearing this

Slot on Ramsay: It's great for him where he is at the moment. Half a year ago he came back and was in the U21s. It's a big chance he's having now to come to first team. When someone is unlucky with injuries someone has a chance and that's the case with Calvin. But I still think I have better options to play, but when I was running out of options he's already shown he's good enough to be in and around our players
