The issue for Slot now is the problems are piling up, players form has fallen off a cliff, the style of play is ****e, there isn't enough effort put in by the players, you look at running stats and pressing starts we are way down, but also he has lost the fans, not just Internet fans, but match going fans and those in the city. Yes there are some mitigating circumstances, he wasn't given the squad that was needed to do the job, and there was the tragic situation with Jota. You could argue he deserves another chance, but what does that look like? Lose/fail to win a few of the opening games next season and he is under pressure, fail to get a reaction to a defeat and everyone is thinking back to what happened this season. Even a decent run of results at the start of the season doesn't inspire much confidence after what happened this time, I feel we have to go on a really good long run of results (and performances) for him to win the fans back over, and while anything is possible it seems unlikely. If we are honest this isn't just a bad patch this level of form has been consistent for the last 15 months or something, maybe that improves with new signings, maybe this is Slot's level, more likely scenario is we seem more of the same and are in that 3rd-6th type position no title race just a battle for CL qualification, but if he has lost the players it could be worse.
