Thanjk you.

We still stay 10 points clear at the top of the league, but taking a point home from an away game against Cork is big for Treaty.
Do see us struggling if/when we get promoted to the Premier league next season unless some smart moves get made in the transfer window. Our back line and midfield is of top division standard, but our front line is a decent rather than stand out first division level.
Really good atmosphere last night it has to be said. Not a big crowd down from Limerick but you could hear them at times.
We were bouncing in the home stands as usual. Flags and banners aplenty. Cork City FC being such a yo yo club at times make them a great club to have a ST for. One season you are being relegated, then a season or two later you are making a push for either the first or Premier league title.
Be a regular at Turners Cross for even as little as ten years and you will get to experience every aspect of the ups and downs of footy
And despite that and regardless of what division they are in they tend to draw some of the biggest crowds in Irish domestic footy. A relegation season will draw the same amount of bums in stands as a title chasing one.
are you a ST holder at the Cross Jaco???
My perm move back goes ahead in 2 weeks. A friend of mine said "oh you'll have to start going to Cork City matches then" but not sure it'll happen to be honest.....might go to one or two

You want to see LOI footy in Cork then your choices are Cork City or Cobh and who wants to admit going to watch Cobh .
Yeah has been a ST holder for a number of years now. Great little ground to go to and consistently has some of the bigger crowds in the Irish leagues.
No matter how good or bad a season Cork City are having or whether we are in the top division or down a division like now, the crowd numbers and volume don't change.
Club was fan owned up to a few years ago too and we (ST holders/ now ex shareholdrers voted to allow Dermot Usher buy a majority share as deeper pockets were needed to help the club compete with the LOI clubs that have been bought by groups that own a number of clubs and that are using their Irish clubs as farms to stockpile youth players. At least with Dermot buying the majority holding the club remained Irish owned and did not become a minor part of some multi club portfolio.
Clubs like Shelbourne and Drogheda have been bought and added to multicub set ups.
Interesting that Quansah is the one who will be backup in case of injury ahead of Maguire and Branthwaite
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
Plus he’s ****e & we’re looking to the future. Interesting that he chose Quansah over the £70m rated Branthwaite ( isn’t that the price being bandied about ? )
I just saw this article saying Slot has decided to bring PS forward a week to get to know the lay of the land. And we’ve got 3 PS matches lined up in the US.
Real Betis (July 27),
Arsenal (July 31)
Man United (August 4)
Sevilla at Anfield on Sunday August 11, kick-off 3pm BST
