Our players out on loan 2024/25

I’ll update this as more info comes out regarding loan deals

    Lewis Koumas Stoke City

Calvin Ramsay & Luke Chambers Wigan

Liverpool duo Luke Chambers and Calvin Ramsay were involved in Wigan Athletic's League One opener on Saturday evening.

Chambers began his second loan spell with the Latics by starting the eventual 1-0 defeat by Charlton Athletic at The Brick Community Stadium.

Fellow full-back Ramsay stepped off the bench on the hour mark, before the match-winning strike from former Reds Academy defender Lloyd Jones arrived in the 81st minute.

Wigan are next in action on Tuesday night when they host Barnsley in the first round of the Carabao Cup.

    Koumas scores for Stoke

I saw something the other day about how many players a team can loan out now, it said 6. I know they’ve cut it right down because of teams like Chelsea and I wondered if that might be part of why we might sell a few more players with less loans available.

      This is the Koumas goal.

Luca Stephenson also scored today on loan with Dundee United.

I thought that U21s and Homegrown players weren't included in those rules

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Koumas hit the post twice as well. Not a bad debut

Thanks, didn’t realise that there was more flexibility when comes to younger players. So it was more about teams like Chelsea that used to stockpile players and send them out on loan. Makes sense.

Koumas scores again for Stoke and also creates one. They are beating Middlesbrough 0-3.

Ben Doak is off to Middlesbrough on loan. Could be a good loan for him. Let’s see how he goes with some regular football and if he can turn that ability to beat a player into more end product.

Nat Philips is off to Derby on loan.

Kaide Gordon to Norwich on loan.

removing all the weak links makes us stronger

Calvin Ramsay was supposed to be a huge prospect when we signed him but it looks like injuries could have ****ed him up before he even got going.

However, if Trent did leave, then he might have an opportunity to be back up to Bradley so it is a big year for him.

We better not make an effort in the e domestic cups because that's some manpower shifting
