Yeah that’s true about Cody but the fact he played the entire mate & Diaz was left on the bench says something. Same with Nunez & Jota. We’ve got lots of matches coming up so having layers fit & firing is so important.

I think we'll continue to treat both PL and CL as the 1st team selection with a couple of rotations.

Yeah, think the LC will be used for the heavy rotation.


Have to go strong in both the PL and CL. Might be a bit different in the CL if we had enough points garnered after six games to guarantee a top eight finish, but the new set up means needing to rack up the points asap to avoid going into the last few games looking like a play off finishing spot (and extra games) is on the cards.


Also important imo to wrap up the CL top 8 position by January if we can given there will be 2 CL games and 4 PL games as well as the FA cup in Jan this season.


December looks mad too with 7 PL games, a CL game and potentially something in the LC. Even if games get rescheduled, they will still catch up with us and create a big back log somewhere else.
