Thought Gakpo was brilliant today - my only concern is we don't ****ing shoot, always an extra touch and its breaks down
I make no apologies, this is me

Lots of similarities to last season, finding ourselves top of the table whilst not being particularly good. A very easy set of opening games, but a tough run coming up. A lack of squad depth hit us toward the business end of the season last time, and no further investment in it will see the same thing happen again, only sooner. We're calmer now, but lost a fair bit of our intensity and I think this will see us suffer against the decent sides.

Alison looks like a long one. But Kelleher is a top keeper. Midfield wasn't great today.

Virgil was a proper Rolls today. Was about the only one.

I'll take 3 points every day of the week. Should have been comfortable much earlier but these are away games where teams can slip up.

18 points out of 21 in Slot's first season. Peak Klopp at the moment.

Arsenal yes, Man City not as nailed on - Fulham are 6th in the table and can play some good stuff - City have really struggled with Adama Traore in the past.

Important 3 points that & puts pressure on the trailing pack. Not pretty but it’s the points that count.

It was our poor finishing that kept palace in that game until the end. Got to do better up front.

Didnt get to see tbe game. What happened to Ali? And where was Kelleher?

Alison getting the same injuries regularly in his 30’s doesn’t look good. Makes sense why they signed the new keeper to come in next season.

Looked like a hamstring injury when kicking the ball. Queef is ill, should be back soon.

Looked excessive in a slow-mo replay, but in real speed less than a second of holding and Alisson getting there first. Surprised the ref didn't give it tho, he fell for every single one of their theatrical tumbles today.

Probably didn’t see it. He would have blown for sure had he seen it, given his performance today

Should have killed the game off after dominating for the first hour.

But, after being such a soft touch defensively last season, its really great to see us being the meanest team in the league again.

I think that has been a consistent issue this season (and last) we need to be more clinical in front of goal.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
