I liked how there was zero, absolutely zero, fecking about at the back when he came on. Everything was booted up for the strikers to control. Took the pressure off Jaros. And me!!

I think people aren't appreciating how well we're playing that's the thing.

We're a lot more controlled on the ball but also winning second balls a lot more than under Klopp with far more urgency on the turn and in midfield whilst looking sharper and more potent up front. Defensively we've been slower if truth be told but that first half performance today was as good as I've ever seen from a Liverpool team and VVD was impeccable.

Overall from the team I see quicker passing, good shielding and strength on and off the ball, incisivness, good pressing, sharpness and positivity and confidence. We just weren't quite clinical enough in the final third today.
