Coming to say this. Never felt worried Chelsea would score another and they looked pretty comfortable defensively.

First half it looked like the team was told not to press as much and let Chelsea have it and again they didn’t do much with it. Looked more a tactic rather than the team struggling or Chelsea dominating.

This is an interesting point - we didn’t have much of the ball so assumed we didn’t have control but in the end they didn’t crest that much so maybe I’m not cut out to be a premier league manager…

Shout out for Nunez, credit where it’s due, he did his role very well.

        And we all felt this

Great game from Jones. He’s having a good couple of weeks. Did it at both ends today with some good blocks and tackles and getting forward and a nice little goal.

Good to see him step in when salah was getting bullied, but then the full back still grabbed salah and the ref didn't card, the ****

Three points! They man marked Grav all game and that made a difference to what were able to do. We got it done, but will be interesting to see how we adjust to those tactics going forward.

When you choose to slide in in that proximity there's a risk you're going to get the player.

Perhaps he did what he had to do, but that doesn't negate any foul that results from it.

Not a great performance but there was a decent degree of control, and we got the 3 pts which is the main thing.

                  Also the ref was awful

I think we are going to need to get used to this. Klopp would have demanded a third and a fourth and we could have conceded. I think we controlled most of the game and managed to stop anything too dangerous baring the outstanding Jackson bent run. Imagine if Nunez had the ability to do that!

Jones and Grav exceptional in there. Salah worked harder defensively than I think I’ve ever seen him, put a huge shift in for the team.

A couple of times where Dom needs to just do more offensively but can’t fault effort and role in there.

                    A monster 3 points.

All fair but would have been nice to counter a bit more effectively. Pretty wasteful most of the time.

Neither keeper made a save of note. We always make hard work of Chelsea. It becomes a slog.

Just for the record as much as anything

I thought Salah was good today, scored his pen and got the assist. Also tee’d up a few other chances with some intelligent switches and through balls. Strong on the ball and worked back (his requirement to fill in is definitely a new feature under Slot). Not an outstanding performance but a solid 7-8/10. Goal as usual, assist as usual.

The whole team really dug in today. Only conceding 3 goals this season after 8 games shows a level of cohesion defensively that we’ve not had since we won the league. Even with all of the possession Chelsea had we looked pretty solid.

For me he needs to get more on the ball, you see it from behind the goal it looks like the ball grazes his leg, from the other angle he gets more on it. For me it's less of a pen if the keeper stays down after the initial contact, but he hits Jones with his body after the ball has gone past him
