Man City at home Sunday 1st December

Huge game , it goes without saying. 2 players in doubt with Bradley & Konate but here’s hoping they recover. I’m sure I lip read Bradley saying Hammy but the fact he was still walking around gives me some hope it was just a precaution. Konate is definitely the guy I want out there taking care of Haaland or if he’s not right I suppose Gomez would be 2nd choice.

In midfield do we go the same 3 or play Szobo instead of Curtis?

Up front Mo, Diaz & Gakpo?
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Hell no. Jones should start anytime he is fit.

Jones wasn't rested until really late so I can see Szob starting in his place. Darwin on the other hand was a surprise sub so he's definitely being geared up to cause (captain) chaos in their defence.

I wonder if Gakpo will be the surprise pick against the Walker Dead.
      One tit for another.

Problem with Bradley and Konate being out is that if TAA still isn't fit it'd be Gomez you'd want to cover both those positions.

I think Jones should start but I suspect it will be the 'preferred' three of Gravenberch, MacAllister and Szobozlai

We put alot of work in last night so I expect Szob and Gakpo to start vs City. They have looked so laboured in midfield, so we need fresh legs to play on that. Slot has rotated lovely and the squad seems very strong, no harm is using it to our advantage. Jones has been fantastic, his improvement this season is quite incredible and is playing so much better than Szob, so if he is fresh, personally I would prefer him ahead of Szob.

Do you think a draw would be seen as a good result in the greater scheme of things?

It would be for Arsenal, not for us.

Arsenal couldn't break the 90 point barrier in the best of their best seasons. We're on course to at least get 90 if we can maintain some form (100 if we go Klopp season 2019/2020 crazy!!!).

Arsenal are no longer a concern, it's only Pep's City from here.

Almost every Gooner I speak to is convinced they are going to win the league this season, stretching themselves in each and every direction to try and find something to back up their hopes. I’ve never seen a fanbase of a team that are so far behind, be so sure of an outcome that has no historical president. I could understand City supporters being that way, having their history of successful run ins… but Arsenal have done nothing but choke for 25 years.

They are a bolshie bunch for a team that has never cracked 90 points under Arteta. Until they show they can do that with a winning run similar to what City or we have done in recent years, they’re not really part of the conversation

There's so much talk of city being washed and collapsing that it feels almost inevitable that they'll turn it on today and get themselves back in it.
