Exactly the way I’ve felt for the past week.

To be fair, it's everyone else saying that - the majority of Liverpool media are not being bullish about it - leave that to the fans!

That's what happens when one team has been superb and the other is on a record breaking run of poor results. Be odd if 'the talk' was any different.

City is still an excellent team though and more than capable of winning today, plus Haaland is due a haul any day now, but it can't be denied that there has just never been a better time for us to play them in the Guardiola era.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Yeah - it must be even more motivation for them, as if they needed any. I am confident that Arne and the lads won’t be taking anything for granted - they’ll need to be at the top of their game to get three points. We need a crazy atmosphere IMO.

The crowd will play a big part today, need the volume to be turned up to 11.

Murphy on the beeb said this:

"If Liverpool win, although it makes them favourites for the title, it is no way decisive at this stage," continued Murphy. "They are under a new manager and, at the moment, things are going well and they have had no serious injuries to contend with. But there might be a spell later in the season where they do have a little wobble."

how does he get pay to spout **** like that??

I’m 56 and in exactly the same boat

I have to endure an early lunch with friends who are Spurs and Newcastle fans before I can settle down for the build up.

Yep these guys are winners - KDB, Haaland, Foden, Gvardiol, Dias, Ake etc…. those are top class players. They are down and we need to go hard from the start and smash their fragile confidence.

If we let them get into the game they can beat us

as always 1st goal so important. If we score early I don;t think they have the fight to get back into it and we can punish them

Missing half our defence, with Robbo handing out penalty kicks like lollypops at halloween... Im not confident. If TAA isnt fit, then we are looking at what...

                          Gk Kelkeher
                          Rb Gomez
                          Cb Quansah
                          cb VVD
                          lb Robbo

Who is on the bench defence wise?

Hopefully we will be tight at the back, but Im not a great fan of Gomez when he is under pressure, he may go full Lovren. Hopefully he will have a good game, and get back to the confidence he had a few seasons back.

Still think we can smash em. We just need to keep their forward line quiet
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

Gomez is usually ok if hes in the middle or the left. He'll be on the right for this game and thats his worst spot for me. And with all the refs today being from manchester, I expect horridness.

Gakpo starts instead of Nunez. Jomez next to VVD. Diaz to go up against walker, but Silva is up against Robbo.

                                Surely Gakpo will be LW?
