Why are you bashing a player when we are top of the league by 7 points. He's contributed just like others have.

We've scored 29 league goals and our big money star centre forward has 2 for them. He's ****, which is why he isn't first choice. We need a first choice striker who scores every other week, or at least looks like they're capable of it, with a back up like Jota to go a full season at our peak.

OK, but I would expect more output from our central striker. I can't even say he creates openings for other players by moving the oppo about, let alone scores loads or creates loads. Perhaps you see it better than I do.

No I'm agreeing that his goal output isn't good enough. He's not a reliable finisher.

I do think he creates alot though, even indirectly, like in the build up to the penalty on Sunday for example l.

However harsh people think the criticism of him is, and however much they think they like him personally, or the 'vibes' he brings, he's played enough games for us now to know we need better. He was a one in two striker in Spain and Portugal, but he has a 1 in 3.5 return for us after 76 games. We've had worse, but we're competing at the top level these days and he hadn't and will not be at the level we need. He has been a flop and we need to replace him asap.

Yes, I am increasingly in that camp. I hope we're wrong, as he is one of ours.

I like him as he's a bit of a loon and clearly passionate but his finishing is generally poor, his link up play isn't the best and tonight it was really bad. That chance he missed was criminal really.
