That's assuming the game gets played.
As near to Liverpool as Holyhead and Bangor are under the red warning for the storm and Liverpool, though calm enough atm, is under an amber warning for tonight.Last edited by Doc_Piptorious; 06-12-24, 01:11 PM.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Maybe be better for us if it was called off? We looked knackered on Weds and the same lads are going to have to go again.
Giving a team news update, Liverpool head coach Arne Slot: "Alisson is not ready but will be soon.
"Diogo Jota and Fedrico Chiesa are close. The others are a bit further behind."Modifying post.

I agree, wouldn’t mind this one being postponed, as it would be a bit of a break to the next game right? Girona mid week then carabao next weekend?Originally posted by Buzzo View PostMaybe be better for us if it was called off? We looked knackered on Weds and the same lads are going to have to go again.

Not for me, get the win here and rest midweek.
Selfishly, I want the Newcastle result out of my system, but also don't want to give to give the chasing pack the psychological boost of getting our lead down to a reasonable distance.
Everton will also be shattered, a rescheduled match will probably be much worse timing for us and will probably give them even more to play for if it's towards the end of season and the result have a huge say on the title. Plus they are **** at the minute, despite that last result. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Yep very fair perspective as well. Would ideally love the win and keeping the lead at 7, just think the conditions will even out the game and make it more difficult than later in the seasonOriginally posted by RedReet View PostNot for me, get the win here and rest midweek.

I was going to ask when they would make a decision tomorrow if it's off, because for 3pm kick off they usually call it around 12-1pm for a 12:30 kick off probably be about 10-11am?The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Presumably other matches are at risk too? No problem with a whole PL postponement, especially as I'm travelling tomorrow and watching the match is going to be a complete nuisance.
