Games coming thick & fast & this should be a low priority but I’d not expect too much rotation. Definitely see minutes for Chiesa here & hopefully Endo & or Morton. Is Robbo suspended for this or is it just league matches? Does Kelleher get recalled for Cup games? I’d like to see Trey Nyoni get minutes too here.

Match suspensions in the PL used to carry to the cups as well, so hopefully Robbo's one match ban (I assume, straight red for DOGSO usually is) should be done in time for the next PL match.Originally posted by SB View PostGames coming thick & fast & this should be a low priority but I’d not expect too much rotation. Yep you are correct. I just saw an article confirming he’ll be available for the Spurs match.Originally posted by Scratch View PostMatch suspensions in the PL used to carry to the cups as well, so hopefully Robbo's one match ban (I assume, straight red for DOGSO usually is) should be done in time for the next PL match.

Not many options to rotate the defence but Quansah needs some game time, his confidence looks low. Can Endo play as a RB?
Elliot should start and maybe Jota can play 60 from the start. One of Endo or Morton to play with Mac with Elliot in the more advanced role.
It was nice for Slot to have plenty of options in attack today so plenty of chances to rotate.
Maybe we’ll see Nyoni and Nallo on the bench. Probably too soon for Danns.

None of them have been given a chance before except Nallo the CB. Owen Beck would have been a likely starter at LB but he was loaned out. Currently we are playing James Norris at LB & Josh Davidson at RB with Lee Jonas partnering Nallo as CB’s. Carter Pinnington is another that can play at the back from memory. We loaned out a lot of defenders this season.Originally posted by Rich View PostIs there any fullback in the u21s that we could throw in?!Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Quansah needs to be at cb so he has vvd alongside him to guide him.Originally posted by SB View PostKelleher
Quansah Nallo VVD Gomez
Elliot Endo Jones
Chiesa Nunez Nyoni
That’s not what I expect to see but it’s an alternative starting X1 that hopefully could hold their own before we bring Jota , Mo, Gakpo etc on after 60 mins
If he goes into rb he is a little headless, similar to how Gomez used to be.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

So that most likely means TAA plays I’d say. Or we go with 3 CB’swhich we’ve not done before so highly unlikely.Originally posted by baitman View PostQuansah needs to be at cb so he has vvd alongside him to guide him.

The only left-back Liverpool have available to them at this point in time is 21-year-old James Norris, who you have heard of before.
When the Reds were out in Qatar for the FIFA Club World Cup in 2019, the FA failed to reschedule Liverpool's EFL Cup match against Aston Villa, so Liverpool quite literally had to play the kids. Jurgen Klopp was the manager that day in name only, as almost all of the first-team was unavailable.
Norris came on as a substitute that night for his club debut, aged 19 at the time, becoming the fifth youngest player to ever feature for the club.
He's since been a mainstay at the club's academy before featuring for a few minutes in Liverpool's 4-1 FA Cup win over Shrewsbury in 2022.
Now, almost three years later, he could be Liverpool's saviour if he can fill in at left-back for his first-ever senior start for the club.
The move would allow Slot to field Gomez at centre-back and Quansah could be used at their centre-back or right-back depending upon whether Trent or Van Dijk were to be rested. 18-year-old centre-back Amara Nallo is likely to be in Slot's plans as well, although he would be making his senior debut.
The headache that Liverpool have to deal with is monumental. The absentees from injuries and suspensions are mounting and Liverpool's regular players are destined to be feeling the toll of such a brutal fixture schedule.
It will be fascinating to see how the club decides to proceedMe, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.
