This will be perfect if the rest of the game pans out like this; a glorified training session giving fringe players some minutes.

And it would show Slot that he can trust certain individuals that he hasn’t trusted yet, like Endo, Moreton, Nyoni etc

                Sounds like he’s playing well.

He's playing as solidly as he normally does. Bit of a mystery to me why he hasn't had more time.
                  Really?

Yep we risk burning Gravenberch out if we don’t start rotating to a certain degree.

Could be that he isn't slated to create as much. But all told, he's been a decent signing - and I agree, even if we lose a bit going forward, we can't keep playing Gravenberch and not expect something to go wrong with his fitness.

Saints are terrible aren't they, been like a training session. Two lovely goals from us.

HT 2-0 to the good guys.

Arsenal had to bring Odegard off the bench at HT when trailing 1-0 & he gets an assist to draw level. I hope someone takes him out. Without Odegard they are poor.

Makes me think of the days of Rafa when we were complaining about too much rotation.

Endo is good on the ball and can stick his foot it, but his lack of pace is a big liability. The "good defending" incident nearly wasn't, as he was done for pace down our left and had to use just about every millimetre of his frame to get the ball back, which was a good effort. Minutes later he was completely done down our right and thankfully the Southampton player crossed the ball to nobody in the box.

Endo and Grav are completely different players; I don't think it's a fair comparison.
