              Ability wise he looked fine in the 20-30 min run out he had, you have to assume the issue is either fitness, attitude or Slot doesn't feel he fits into th side

                Could it just be fitness and they don’t think he could have enough of an impact in a more important game unlike the league cup? They’ve been very cautious with Jota since he’s been back. They were forced to play Trent when Bradley getting injured. Might be they will be slower bringing players back depending on their overall fitness levels and what else is available.

                There is still Elliot, Nunez and Jota on the bench, would they need Chiesa on the bench? Although Danns is there I suppose which does fit with everything I’ve just said considering how long he’s been out so who knows.
