Liverpool's 37 shots vs Brentford is the most an away team has had in a Premier League game in recorded history (since 03-04)
Liverpool's 37 shots against Brentford is their joint-most in a Premier League match on record (since 2003/04), matching their total against Everton in April 2016. The Reds failed to score with any of their first 35 shots in today's game, before netting with their final two through Nunez.

It's true. But, if they'd tapped in the early whipped cross then he'd be getting murdered here as he was oblivious to the run of the guy at the back post. If they score that it's a different game. I'm being picky after a good win, but he's not a great defender.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostIt was his desire and battling that got the goal. Doesn’t always need to be neat as a pin.

Ashley Williams on MOTD claiming our squad is so strong and different to anyone else was odd what was he trying to imply? We don't/haven't had injuries or that our overall squad is stronger than anyone else, because I don't think either of those are true. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I think our squad is very strong to be honest. Good options across all areas. Able to absorb injuries and still deliver. The fact we have this despite spending very little is testament to both quality recruitment and coaching.
Only City have a stronger squad and even then that’s only really on paper. Other squads may have more players or more depth but then they lack that quality.
Our forward options have to be the envy of many. If Chiesa is going to start getting games then we have 6 quality options and as the last two games has evidenced genuine game changers coming on from the bench.
I took his comments as a massive compliment.Modifying post.

What about the ****e defending that let the cross in prior to that.
Seems that Trent is measured by a completely different bar by some fans
